Product Lines and Timelines

It’s here, SPRING! (I mean… well… sort of. You know, with Noreaster and all that jazz. Let’s be honest. The ‘first’ day of spring was more like the ‘frost’ day of spring. Ahem… Anyway.)

After the cold dark months of winter, especially here in Michigan, we eagerly await the longer days, warmer temps, and more sun! With the change of the season also comes a desire in our customers to change up their product lines. We at ACS want make sure that you’re all as geared up, prepared, and informed as you can possibly be. So we’ve put together a handy guide for when to order towels so that your product can be available for each season or holiday.

For example, if you’d like to have new products for the trade show season of July and August, we’ll need to start working on the project in June. A typical screen print order takes about 4 weeks to complete.

If you are looking to release a printed product for a specific holiday; Labor Day, Mother’s Day, Fourth of July, etc… You will want to plan on the 3-4 weeks to complete a project and add the time you will want to have the product available to sell before the holiday.

The biggest rush is always the fall when our customers are busy preparing for the Christmas gift giving season. So while, we usually ask for 3-4 weeks of lead time, for the Holiday season, we usually start reaching out to our customers about Christmas in the middle of Summer. Our print schedule fills up quickly and our lead times sometimes lengthen. Our cut off date for taking in Christmas orders is October 31st.

In essence; the sooner, the better! Especially if there are any aspects of your order that you might have concerns about. Not sure if your design can be printed? Maybe you’ve heard the word “no” from another screen printer? Get in touch and we can be your second opinion. If your artwork, is not appropriate for screen printing, our design team can create and suggest an alternative design that best represents you or your brand.

Let us know how we can help you by contacting me at angela@acshomeandwork.com if you have any questions about getting your project off the ground.

In the ever expanding world of DIY startups, it can be easy to get lost in the infinite stream of crocheted table runners, organic soy candles, quirky pottery, and don’t get me started on all the bridal products. But Kitch Studios punches through the noise with towel designs that are as original as they are eclectic in their design and variety.
